American Principals

Why are politicians out of favor in America?  It is because they do not stand for principals, or the principals that they represent are contrary to those on which this country was founded.  This country was founded on true principals.  It was founded on the experience of societies throughout the ages.  These principals centered on three basic rights from which all others emanate.  These include the rights of Life, Liberty, and Property.  Society can only pursue happiness when these rights are fully protected.  The basic concept of these principals is that the individual is the most important unit in society, followed by the family, then your neighborhood, and so on to the nation.  These principals are outlined in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.  These documents create specific borders for the federal government to ensure that it cannot encroach on individual’s rights.  There is a reason that much of the language of these documents is negative.  They are a protection for all, and therefore specify what cannot be done by the government.  This is on purpose.   It is to put forth the idea that government is to be controlled, and therefore does not have rights or responsibilities to provide, except within carefully defined parameters.
