John Boehner on Health Care

In response to the treasonous legislation our elected officials have forced upon us  Mr Boehner gave the following message.

Mr Obama, Mrs Pelosi, Mr. Reid, and all your cronies…  There is a reason the people have fought so hard in opposition to your will.  We believe in America as it was founded!  We will not allow you to destroy our nation and bring us to our knees.  Only God can do that!  And with His help we will damn every move you make until we remove you from office.  As Americans we are charged with the protection of Liberty for the world.  You have betrayed this noble charter in an misguided attempt for comfortable mediocrity.  As Ronald Reagan said “If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to….we are the last stand on earth”.  God forget that you were our countrymen!

Muse website, and right wing libertarians

I was searching the website about a band called Muse and what their political persuasions were. An interesting task given that they are foreign and US and European political terms don’t exactly match up. Their recent songs though seem very libertarian to me. On their forum, they used the term Liberal which is generally the european way of saying Libertarian, and to them is tied closely to anarchists. Continue reading

Differences Between Conservatives and Liberals

 If a conservative doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.
If a liberal doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.

Third Party Rising?

I came across this today while searching other conservative blogs, and must say I am very impressed!  I am not decided on the best course of action for reform our nation, whether it be through the Republican party or a new party.  The benefit of the using the Republicans is that they, as Glenn Beck has stated, already have the framework in place.  However, this existing framework has a stigma attached to it that many find distasteful.  It would be best that the reformist movement be open to left and right wing individuals that love the constitution and our country.  All this said I would like to share this new ”American Federalist Party” platform being developed online.  It is very interesting and in many ways a perfect example of the concerns of We the People. Why I’m Not a Republican

First, I will say that both my Mother and Father are republican.  Most of the people I grew up with declare proudly that they are Republican.  Therefore, I grew up partial to that point of view.  Mostly because that was just the “right” way to think, pardon the overused pun.  Now Republican ideals always made sense to me.  They made sense in the same way that my religious ideals did.  The concepts are not always easy, but in the end, they are the most beneficial to the individual and society.  As I grew older, I have come to find that Republicans are just politicians with all the faults that come with the title. Leno, Damon, Tennis Balls, and the Declaration of Independence

I found it of unique interest that Matt Damon, while reciting the Declaration of Independence, and juggling tennis balls on Leno’s show, stated that the “best part” is as follows:

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

It is somewhat concerning that a progressive would find such a statement to be so interesting, being that the current administration is doing just that.  They are fundamentally changing this country to be more reflective of their desires in government.  The problem is the government they are constructing is very oppressive of freedom and denies many personal liberties in the name of making a certain few comforts more available.

Life, Liberty, and… Property

…and Entitlement for all!

Under the rule of Nature’s God, all mankind is born with three basic entitlements.  These entitlements are declared proudly in our Nation’s Declaration of Independence.  They are the motto of this website, and include: Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.  In the arrogance of our modern Nation, we as a people have fooled ourselves into believing we are entitled to so much more!  We have come to believe that it is our right to have a roof over our head, a right to be cared for at the hospital, and a right to eat ourselves into obesity.  The list goes on, for some it is longer, and others it is short.  However, it is a lie that we have told ourselves to believe they are guarranteed, or even should be!  The crumbling wreck that our Nation has become is in great part attributed to this social attitude.  The offloading of these personal responsibilities, and that is truly what these luxuries are, to the state and federal government, is simply an adolescent attempt to shirk reality and live under the comfort of another’s direction.  This societal desire is exactly what has brought to us our current circumstance.
