“They say it’s better to be judged by 12 than carried by six,” – Sherrif Alderden, Colorado
There are three main reasons why I feel it is necessary to carry a weapon. They are as follows:
3. Rights not exercised are rights lost.
While this is the least important reason for carrying a weapon to me personally, it is the most important for society. Continue reading
“Ideas are far more powerful than guns. We don’t let our people have guns. Why should we let them have ideas?” – Joseph Stalin
In Montana and now Utah, legislation has been introduced that questions the ATF’s power to regulate weapons that are manufactured, sold, and used within state boundaries. The purpose of this legislation is two-fold.
The first goal for this legislation is to once again bring to light the rights all Americans have when it comes to self-armament. “Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property… Horrid mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them.” – Thomas Paine
I just don’t understand why modern society cannot seem to grasp this simple truth. Maybe it’s just denial. We like to think we are so much better than our predecessors.
